How do Immersions and ELSJ Connect?

If you are a student looking to fulfill your Experiential Learning for Social Justice (ELSJ) requirement, our immersion trips can count towards it. By enrolling and participating in an Ignatian Center immersion, you can request permission from the assessment manager for Undergraduate Studies in advance. You will then register for a directed study class that allows you to reflect on your immersion experience and explore what it means to live in solidarity with our local and global community. Course assignments include critical reflections and an academic research paper.
