The program requires approximately 1000 hours of study and practice, which typically takes 3-4 years to complete. Throughout the program, you will work closely with senior licensed mentor teachers who will guide you on your journey to becoming a Reiki Master Teacher.

While each student teacher will be assigned a mentor, the program is structured in a way that allows each student teacher to become an apprentice to the Reiki Energy itself. This unique approach ensures that you develop a deep connection with the healing energy of Reiki and learn to channel it effectively in your teaching and practice.

Requirements to Apply

In order to be eligible for the Reiki 3rd Degree Master/Teacher Course, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a teaching Reiki Master for a minimum of two years and have taught at least 8 classes Be a Professional Member of the Reiki Membership Association for at least one year Have completed Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki I & II, Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master, and Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki® Master training with an ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Have attended the International Reiki Retreat online or in-person and participated in the Licensed Teacher meeting Have an active Reiki practice with a minimum of 10+ sessions per month Have access to a computer, proficiency with Word and email, and ability to teach Reiki classes online Complete a business assessment on Google Forms Pay an application fee of $500

Program Requirements After Acceptance

Once accepted into the program, you will need to fulfill additional requirements to teach different levels of Reiki:

Requirements to Teach Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki I and II

Teach 6 Reiki I and II classes with a minimum average of 3 students each or a total of 18 or more students during the first year after acceptance into the program Complete 100 Reiki treatments after acceptance into the Licensing program and submit documentation for each treatment Have 10 different clients submit reviews of the Reiki treatment they received from you Pass a written test on material related to teaching Reiki I, II, Master, and Karuna classes Write a paper on a Reiki subject of your choice Review a Reiki I and II class before co-teaching it Sponsor a Reiki I and II class and co-teach it with your Mentor Teacher Stay up to date with upgrades to Holy Fire® Reiki Pay monthly fees and other applicable fees

Requirements to Teach Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master

Teach a minimum of six Reiki I & II classes with a minimum average of 3 students each or a total of 18 or more students Teach a minimum of three Reiki Master classes with a minimum average of 3 students each or a total of nine or more students as an independent teacher Review a Reiki Master class before co-teaching it Sponsor a Reiki Master class and co-teach it with your Mentor Teacher Pay monthly fees and other applicable fees

Requirements to Teach Holy Fire® Karuna Reiki®

Teach a minimum of six Reiki I & II classes as an LRMT with a minimum average of 3 students each or a total of 18 or more students Teach a minimum of three Reiki Master classes as an LRMT with a minimum average of 3 students each or a total of nine or more students Teach three Holy Fire® Karuna Master classes with a minimum of 9 students as an independent teacher Review Karuna before co-teaching it Sponsor a Karuna class and co-teach it with your Mentor Teacher Pay monthly fees and other applicable fees
